Detailed Description

This RF EMF Strength Meter monitors high frequency radiation in the 50MHz to 3.5GHz range. Ideal for mobile phones, cell phones, base stations, locating RF hotspots, wireless network (Wi-Fi) RF detection, RF'Electrosmog' detection, and microwave leakage. It features non-directional measurement with 3-channel (triaxial) measurement probe, Max Hold and Average functions, and manual store/recall of up to 99 data sets. In addition, there is an audible alarm with a user-selectable threshold.

Capabable of measuring electromagnetic field radiation with frequency from 50MHz to 3.5GHz with optimised measurements for 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2.7GHz, the Extech 480836 is also capable of carrying out measurements in different units that can be selected from a dedicated button on the front of the tester (mV/m, V/m, μA/m, mA/m, μW/m, mW/m², W/m², μW/cm², mW/cm²).

To make obtaining a measurement significantly easier, the Extech 480836 comes with a non-directional (isotropic) measurement probe to ensure that EMF radiation can be detected from any direction.
